ey responsibilities:

ead the preparation of engineering drawings using WSP CAD standards and templates. D
evelop templates and libraries for CAD/BIM work. A
gree on priorities and deadlines for drawing production through liaison with the project engineer and US team. A
lign work with team workflows and maintain document control for all work. P
roactively raise queries, identify necessary inputs from others, and follow up. C
reate detailed and accurate civil structural engineering drawings using Microstation, Open Bridge Modeler, and Civil 3D. P
rovide technical support and guidance to CAD/BIM technicians. S
tay updated on industry trends and advancements in CAD technology. R

equirements:
O

ver 15 years of experience as a Principal/Senior BIM Technician, specializing in structural engineering and drafting of Civil Bridges. P
roficiency in Bentley software, including Microstation and ORD. P
roficiency in Autodesk software, such as AutoCAD and Revit. S
trong communication and problem-solving skills. P
roject and Team management skills. S
trong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices. E
xcellent knowledge of reinforcement detailing. E
xceptional attention to detail and accuracy. A
bility to work collaboratively in a team environment. A
bility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. L
ead project setup by agreeing on drawing strategy, type, and size of drawings, and drawing numbering with the project engineer, and suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficiency. C
oordinate engineering services on projects to ensure that the correct inputs are received timely and the outputs are issued after a thorough review. E
nsure that work produced by the team adheres to specified WSP CAD standards and suggest revisions to standards as appropriate. R
eview engineers' sketches and other design team members' drawings and details to identify any unbuildable or conflicting details or missing information. M
aintain regular dialogue with the project engineer and US client team. B
e responsible for sharing knowledge with immediate colleagues and the rest of the GCC. E
nsure that all new skills learned are documented and available for new team members. I
n conjunction with the GCC Local Head, identify skills shortages and develop a program for CAD/BIM training. H
igh degree of self-motivation and the ability to motivate others. M

andatory Skills:

roficient in AutoCAD and Microstation, Structural detailing, Bridge Engineering, reinforcement detailing, and possessing strong communication skills.
