Key Roles and Responsibilities of a CBSE Principal

Pedagogical Leadership:

Guiding the teaching-learning ecosystem and acting as the primary pedagogical leader of the school.

Administrative Duties:

Overseeing the school's daily operations, including the safety and well-being of students and staff.

Examination Conduct:

Participating in Board examinations, including evaluation of answer scripts, result processing, and acting as a Centre Superintendent when appointed by the CBSE.

Resource Management:

Developing and organizing school library resources and ensuring access to books and journals for students and staff.

Student Well-being:

Promoting the physical well-being of pupils, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and health habits, and arranging medical examinations.

Parental Communication:

Regularly sending student progress reports to parents or guardians.

Professional Development:

Arranging and encouraging training programs for teachers as required by the CBSE Affiliation Bye-Laws.
