The Principal will provide strong academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to the school in line with CBSE norms and the institution's vision. Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership
Oversee implementation of the CBSE curriculum in accordance with NCERT and CBSE guidelines.
Monitor lesson planning, assessment, and evaluation processes to ensure quality outcomes.
Promote innovative teaching methods and integration of technology in classrooms.
Supervise and mentor teachers to enhance instructional quality and student learning outcomes.
Ensure regular academic audits and adherence to CBSE examination protocols.
2. Administration & Operations
Manage school operations, including admissions, scheduling, infrastructure, safety, and discipline.
Maintain records and compliance with CBSE affiliation norms and statutory requirements.
Develop and implement policies for effective school management.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation in collaboration with management.
3. Staff Management
Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings, workshops, and performance appraisals.
Build a collaborative, positive, and motivating work environment.
4. Student Development
Ensure holistic development through academics, sports, cultural, and co-curricular activities.
Promote inclusive education and cater to diverse learning needs.
Implement student welfare and discipline policies effectively.
5. Parent & Community Relations
Maintain open communication with parents and address concerns proactively.
Organize parent-teacher meetings, school functions, and community outreach programs.
Represent the school in external forums and educational networks.
6. Strategic Planning
Set measurable academic and institutional goals in alignment with the school's mission.
Lead school improvement initiatives and ensure continuous quality enhancement.
Stay updated on CBSE circulars, NEP (National Education Policy) guidelines, and educational trends.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification:
Master's Degree in any discipline with B.Ed. / M.Ed. (Ph.D. preferred).
Experience:
Minimum
10-15 years of teaching experience
, including
at least 5 years in an administrative or leadership position
(e.g., Vice-Principal, Headmistress, or Principal) in a CBSE school.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, examination system, and school management procedures.
