Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & School Management:
- Provide visionary leadership to the school, driving its educational mission, vision, and goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the school, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and systems that support academic excellence and operational efficiency.
- Act as the spokesperson for the school, building strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the local community.
Academic Excellence:
- Ensure the implementation of the CBSE curriculum and oversee its delivery at all levels of schooling.
- Monitor teaching and learning processes to ensure high academic standards and student performance.
- Regularly evaluate and improve instructional practices, ensuring they are aligned with modern pedagogical trends.
- Foster a culture of continuous professional development for faculty, ensuring teachers stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and educational best practices.
Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage teaching and non-teaching staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide guidance, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
- Organize workshops, training sessions, and educational programs for staff development.
Student Welfare & Discipline:
- Ensure the overall well-being, safety, and discipline of students within the school.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Implement programs and activities that promote personal growth, emotional development, and holistic learning.
- Develop a system for effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, challenges, and achievements.
Operational & Financial Management:
- Manage the school's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources for academic and administrative purposes.
- Monitor and maintain school infrastructure, ensuring that classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities are conducive to learning.
- Ensure compliance with all CBSE regulations and educational standards, including health, safety, and security protocols.
Parental and Community Engagement:
- Foster positive relationships with parents and the wider school community, acting as the primary point of contact for parental concerns and feedback.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings, school events, and other activities to engage families in the educational process.
- Represent the school at external events, fostering partnerships with other institutions and community organizations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate with M.Ed/B.Ed
- Experience: Minimum of 5 of experience in a leadership or principal position in a CBSE-affiliated school.
