PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
Role Summary Incumbent will be responsible for the people management of their team and the design management/design review of design packages delivered by the international design consultants. The role holder will also be responsible for review of contractor\xe2\x80\x99s design submittals under post contract PMC services. The role holder must take a \xe2\x80\x98hands on\xe2\x80\x99 approach to all aspects of the role. Responsibilities Technical

• Focus on the design review of high-quality technical Architectural design drawings and specifications of international design consultants to the required regulations.
• Initiate and participate in design peer reviews & Value engineering workshops.
• Manage the design review of design submittals submitted by contractors.
• Review feasibility reports to meet design brief requirements
• Keep up to date with industry developments with respect to own discipline and appreciate the basic technical principles and drivers of other disciplines.
• Contribute to technical solutions on projects.

Project Leadership

• To act as discipline lead on PMS projects by managing the successful design delivery of high quality multi disciplinary projects
• Manage and supervise the teams to successfully manage high quality discipline projects in line with the Project Life Cycle
• Develop the technical capabilities of the team.
• Complete project planning, stakeholder and risk management
• To ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
• Input into the delivery of project P&L budgets, forecasts and working capital targets.

Key Competencies / Skills Mandatory Skills

• The applicant should have design experience of ME Projects
• The applicant will have proven experience in the Architectural design of Buildings with significant experience in a similar role or demonstration of a good track record.
• Excellent working knowledge of international codes & standards
• Must be fully conversant with technical software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, Sketchup etc
• Good at stake holder management
• Excellent command of English Language both spoken and written.

Desired Skills The applicant should ideally have obtained UK Chartered Engineer status or equivalent. Qualifications

• B.Arch
• Should have 15+ years of experience.
