As the Principal Architect, you will be responsible for defining the platform architecture as well as providing low level analysis during run activities of our existing platform. You\'ll collaborate with a fast growing team of 300+ developers, with the help of 41+ engineering managers and leads, based in Noida (near Delhi), Berlin, Paris, Sofia and Toronto. You\'ll have to understand the performance constraints of the platform as well as the business requirements from the product team, and then work with the Engineering team, DevOps, QA and Archi team to make the right technical decisions and organize the architecture of the solution.

As the Principal Architect, you will :

• Use your track record working as a technical expert, capable of working very hands-on, discussing and working together with the team to provide deep analysis on both design and technology topics
• Be proficient at technology architecture and solution architecture while still being able to profive a first level of enterprise architecture
• Capable of a thorough situation analysis across network, hardware, middleware and code in a distributed microservice ecosystem
• Understand how to drive architecture agenda by working closely with the VP Engineering and the VP Platform to achieve business targets and make the right technical decisions
• Define and maintain Code Quality expectation, Implement Standards & improve overall understanding
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
• Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
• Embody the company\'s values, lead by example and maintain our outstanding working culture based on trust, empowerment and supportive leadership
• Inspire, lead and grow a small team of Architects (2-3 persons)

What will contribute to your success:

• At least 10+ yrs of experience in product based organizations with broad range of technologies (GoLang, NodeJs, PHP, Java, MongoDB, MySQL, Postgresql, clickHouse, Kafka, NodeJS, ReactJS, Python)
• A solid experience of international and high pace working environment and culture, including a working period in an lead architect role(s) in a foreign country, in North America or Europe
• Ability to work efficiently in multicultural environment and with remote teams
• Experience in working with startups and cloud hosting will be an added advantage
• Strong development and operations background
• Currently in a Director/VP Architecture role in a tech company (SAAS or ISV preferred).
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis of a situation and contrast alternative solutions
• Openness to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies/ industry trends
• Passionate about technology and craftsmanship
• Excellent team-building and team-management skills - open-mindedness to understand their followers\' motivations, hopes, and problems so that the team can forge a deep personal connection with you
• Excellent communication skills and team player mindset
