Summary We are looking for a skilled and passionate Technical Product Manager to join our team and drive the development of AI-based automation of Research and Development and Quality processes. This initiative is part of a company-wide focus to develop AI tools to re-imagine and automate processes to accelerate product R&D.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in GE Healthcare's AI transformation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboratively define a kanban of R&D use cases that can benefit from AI automation. Estimate the cost and benefits of each project proposal.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders including product, engineering, quality, regulatory, and operations to review, hone, and align the individual project deliverables, costs, and benefits to meet the business objectives.
• Transform each R&D use case opportunity into actionable detailed scope, technical requirements, and metrics to monitor in-flight project health and post-launch adoption/benefit confirmation.
• Establish scope at the use case level with clear progression through project stages including proof-of-concept, minimal viable product, pilot, and to the final release.
• Ensure delivery and scalability of solutions to meet the business targets.
• Translate the technical requirements into clear feature specifications, process flows, and integration guidelines for engineering teams.
• Work with the quality team to establish Good Practices (GxP) compliance tasks including the appropriate validation plan
• Establish and act on clear success metrics and kill criteria that ensures that investments align with customer needs and meet ROI targets set by stakeholders.
• Coordinate and collaborate with agile development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support and mentor development teams in implementing new solutions
• Expand collaboration beyond the Product Manager, including working with AI/ML solution providers, Data Architects, Quality, and Data Privacy & Security experts.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or medical technology, or a related field, or equivalent education.

Required Skills:

• Overall industry experience of 15+ years, with at least 6+ years of product/program management experience in handling multiple teams in a matrix organization.
• Deep understanding and experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation that utilize Large Language Models (LLMs) fine-tuning strategies, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation metrics (accuracy, hallucination rates, bias detection).
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, cyber security, and Responsible AI principles.
• Extensive experience with modern agile software development.
• Understanding of product management principles.
• Familiarity with common operating systems, distributed applications and networks, client-server systems, and databases.

Desired Expertise:

• Proven experience using project management methodologies and tools to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization.
• Understanding of Software Development processes, API architectures, and data modeling
• Experience working in Agile engineering environment
• In-depth understanding of the GE HealthCare quality management system requirements that are relevant for product development (design controls, risk management, complaint handling, corrective and preventative actions, software development lifecycle).
• Understanding of system integrations and knowledge to participate design reviews.
