Roles and Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
Lead the planning and implementation of the CBSE curriculum in alignment with CBSE and NEP guidelines.

Monitor syllabus completion, lesson planning, classroom delivery, and academic outcomes.
Promote innovation, use of technology, and best pedagogical practices in classrooms.
Administrative & Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day school administration, including timetables, staff deployment, and school schedules.
Ensure smooth conduct of examinations, assessments, and academic audits.
Maintain accurate academic and administrative records as per CBSE requirements.
Coordinate with management on budgeting, infrastructure planning, and resource allocation.
Staff Management & Development
Recruit, mentor, guide, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.
Encourage continuous professional development through training, workshops, and peer learning.
Foster a collaborative, disciplined, and motivated work culture.
Student Welfare & Discipline
Ensure student safety, discipline, and emotional well-being.
Promote holistic development through co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Address student and parent concerns in a fair and timely manner.
Parent & Community Engagement
Strengthen parent-school partnerships through meetings, orientations, and regular communication.
Represent the school in CBSE interactions, inspections, and educational forums.
Build the school's reputation in the community through ethical practices and academic excellence.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure full compliance with CBSE affiliation norms, statutory requirements, and safety guidelines.
Lead preparations for CBSE inspections, audits, and accreditations.
Implement policies related to child protection, safety, and grievance redressal.
Eligibility & Experience
Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject with
B.Ed./M.Ed.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role (Principal) in a CBSE school
.
In-depth knowledge of CBSE curriculum, examination systems, and school administration.
Proven ability to lead academic and operational excellence.
