Customer Success includes customer support and care, professional and business critical services, and renewal sales.

Education Services Overview:

In Veritas Education Services, you will have the opportunity to create technical content, technical labs, cutting edge learning programs, and complete customer training delivery strategies that distinguish us as a world class leader in Enterprise Data Protection. We are about creating a culture of knowledge, shared expertise, and accelerated learning so that our customers can focus on what they do best.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop technical courseware in a variety of formats, including instructor-led training and virtual labs.
• Develop technical labs that run on virtual environments. Write scripts for labs.
• Create educational content that clearly conveys complex information to a technically savvy audience, including system administrators, sales engineers, technical support, and consulting.
• Develop an in-depth expertise in one or more Veritas product areas.
• Perform instructional design, write lesson text and technical scripts, develop lab activities and product demos, create clear and engaging lesson content consisting of graphics, tables, diagrams, real-world examples and case studies.
• Engage in project management with a team of course developers and a large advisory board of stakeholders.
• Integrate and respond to feedback diplomatically.
• Close collaboration across many teams to produce course content, including lab development, production, delivery, and product management.
• Maintain high standards of quality and juggle multiple priorities while meeting or beating project deadlines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with engineering, product management, support, and other subject matter experts to acquire feedback and technical information.
• Provide instructor-readiness support, compiling resources and writing documentation to assist with course preparation, and hosting train-the-trainer events.
• Participate in special projects and assignments in addition to regular course development projects.
• Contributing to establishing, maintaining, and evolving department processes, standards, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Engineering, BS/BA degree or equivalent related IT experience.
• Instructional design, technical writing, web publishing, and training coordination experience is required.
• Excellent writing and communication skills is required; should be able to collaborate with a team.
• In-depth knowledge of Storage Area Networks
• Advanced level operating system certification required for OS that is most commonly used for individual's development or delivery
• Build relationship and knowledge share with backline and engineering for the products supported.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of technical and instructional design experience is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience with PowerPoint is required. Experience with Adobe Captivate, HTML. Web publishing, VMware or Learn on Demand is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with Veritas products and technologies, (NetBackup, Enterprise Vault, InforScale)
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Hyper-V, and backup technologies is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with a scripting language like PowerShell is preferred.
