Job Title: Primary Teacher (PRT)



Job Summary:



The Primary Teacher (PRT) is responsible for teaching students from Grades 1 to 5, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in alignment with the school's curriculum and values.

Key Responsibilities:



Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), and General Knowledge to primary grade students. Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans based on the school's curriculum. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Create a supportive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation. Monitor and assess student performance through classwork, assignments, tests, and observation. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and academic performance. Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student development. Encourage students in developing good habits, discipline, and respect for others. Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom teaching where applicable. Participate in school activities such as assemblies, events, and celebrations. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create interdisciplinary learning experiences. Maintain classroom discipline and address behavioral issues promptly and positively. Stay updated with latest NEP Guidelines. Take part in training programs, workshops, and staff meetings as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree with B.Ed. (Primary Education specialization preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the primary level. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Strong understanding of child-centric teaching approaches and foundational learning. Ability to foster a positive and nurturing learning environment. Familiarity with modern teaching aids, digital tools, and activity-based learning.
