Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the curriculum. Use diverse teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Create a classroom environment that is safe, stimulating, and conducive to learning. Integrate technology, hands-on activities, and creative methods to enhance student engagement.

Assessment & Evaluation

Assess student progress through classwork, tests, observations, and formal assessments. Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievement and behavior.

Classroom Management

Establish and enforce classroom rules and routines. Promote positive behavior and encourage students to develop self-discipline. Address behavioral issues in a fair, consistent, and supportive manner.

Communication & Collaboration

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to enhance student learning. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Professional Responsibilities

Stay updated on educational best practices, curriculum developments, and teaching methodologies. Participate in professional development and continuous learning. Uphold the school's mission, values, and safeguarding policies.

Qualifications & SkillsRequired:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field. Teaching certification or license appropriate for primary education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Preferred:

Experience teaching in a primary school environment. Knowledge of [British / CBSE / IB / Montessori / etc.] curriculum (customizable). Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
