Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to teach students from Classes 3 to 7. The teacher will be responsible for developing students' language proficiency, communication skills, reading comprehension, creative writing, and grammar knowledge. The role requires engaging lesson delivery, innovative teaching strategies, and fostering a love for reading and writing among students.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum. Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, literature, and communication skills appropriate for Classes 3-7. Foster creativity through story writing, role plays, discussions, debates, and reading activities. Design and implement assessments, evaluate student progress, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment. Integrate audio-visual aids, ICT tools, and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning. Encourage students to participate in co-curricular activities such as recitation, drama, and essay writing competitions. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in school meetings, events and training sessions.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's/master's degree in English (B.Ed preferred). Strong command over English language (spoken and written). Prior teaching experience with Classes 3-7 is desirable. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Passionate about teaching and mentoring young learners.

Work Schedule

Monday to Saturday 8:20am to 4:00pm
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
