Job Description

Shree Bafna Public School, Meghnagar, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students in the primary grades. The Primary Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners, fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Responsibilities:



Curriculum Development and Implementation:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and promote student learning. Design and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of students, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources. Ensure that lesson plans incorporate clear learning objectives, differentiated instruction, and appropriate assessment methods. Select and utilize a variety of instructional materials, including textbooks, technology, and hands-on resources, to enhance learning.

Classroom Management and Environment:

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and mutual respect. Establish and maintain clear expectations for student behavior, implementing positive discipline strategies and promoting a safe and orderly classroom. Create and maintain a well-organized and visually appealing classroom that supports learning and celebrates student work. Manage classroom routines and procedures effectively, including transitions, attendance, and classroom management.

Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

Assess student progress through observation, assignments, projects, and formal assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. Monitor student progress regularly, identifying students who may need additional support or enrichment activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information, using the school's record-keeping system. Prepare and present student progress reports to parents, communicating student strengths, areas for growth, and strategies for support.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student performance, address questions, and collaborate on strategies to support student success. Collaborate with other teachers, staff members, and administrators to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for all students. Participate in grade-level meetings, team planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives.

Professional Development and School Involvement:

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in education and enhance teaching skills. Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities, committees, and other school-related events. Engage in ongoing reflection and self-evaluation to improve teaching practices and student outcomes. Stay informed about changes in the curriculum, educational policies, and assessment methods.

Student Support and Well-being

Instill in students a love of learning and a strong foundation for future academic success. Manage classroom behavior effectively and implement positive discipline strategies. Provide a supportive and nurturing environment that addresses the social and emotional needs of students. Identify and support students with special needs, working with support staff to implement appropriate accommodations and modifications. Supervise students in the classroom, during transitions, and at other school-related activities.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid teaching certification/license. Proven experience working as a Primary Teacher in a school setting. Strong knowledge of primary education curriculum and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to create engaging and innovative lesson plans. Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to work with young children. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and productive learning environment. Knowledge of assessment strategies and the ability to use data to inform instruction.
