Additional duties

Safety and well-being:

Supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being at all times, following all safeguarding procedures.

Collaboration:

Work with other teachers, teaching assistants, and staff to develop curriculum and improve teaching strategies.

Professional development:

Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops to stay current with educational practices.

Extracurriculars:

Organize and supervise school events, outings, or after-school clubs.
Core responsibilities

Lesson planning and delivery:

Develop and deliver engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities across various subjects.

Student assessment and feedback:

Evaluate student progress, assign and mark work, and provide constructive feedback.

Classroom management:

Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, maintain discipline, and manage student behavior effectively.

Parent communication:

Report on student performance and behavior to parents or guardians through meetings, phone calls, or written reports.

Administrative tasks:

Maintain attendance records, grade assignments, and complete necessary documentation.
