Job Description

Teach Class 2 in Gujarati medium under the GSEB curriculum, creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Prepare monthly, weekly and daily lesson plans along with Gujarati-medium teaching materials (worksheets, homework, group activities). Employ active, child-centred teaching methods (storytelling, hands-on activities, group work) and manage the classroom effectively. Monitor each child's academic, social and emotional development; provide remedial support as needed to ensure inclusive learning. Assess student progress regularly, maintain records, analyse results and share feedback with both students and parents. Communicate and collaborate with parents through PTMs and regular updates to keep them informed of their child's development. Participate in school-based events (cultural programmes, field trips, educational tours) and adhere to school policies and teamwork norms. Continually engage in professional development, keep up-to-date with teaching resources and technology, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
