Plan and deliver clear and engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Teach mathematical concepts using examples, models, manipulatives, and technology.
Assign classwork, homework, quizzes, and projects to reinforce learning.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
Conduct regular assessments to track student progress.
Classroom Management
Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom.
Manage student behavior using appropriate disciplinary strategies.
Encourage active participation and promote a growth mindset toward mathematics.
Student Support
Provide additional support or remedial classes for struggling learners.
Offer enrichment activities for advanced or interested students.
Communicate student progress and concerns to parents/guardians.
Curriculum Development
Collaborate with colleagues to design and improve the mathematics curriculum.
Update lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
Integrate technology (smartboards, math software, educational apps) into teaching.
Administrative Duties
Maintain student records, grades, attendance, and assessment data.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Assist with math competitions, fairs, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).

Experience
