Prepare students for examinations and conduct assessments regularly.
Classroom Management
Maintain a disciplined, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
Implement positive behavior strategies to keep students engaged.
Ensure classroom resources and materials are effectively used.
Student Support
Provide individualized attention and remedial teaching when required.
Monitor student performance and give constructive feedback.
Encourage students to participate in debates, reading clubs, dramatics, and other English-related activities.
Curriculum Development
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and refine the English curriculum.
Update teaching materials and incorporate modern teaching methodologies.
Integrate language lab tools, audio-visual aids, and digital platforms to enhance learning.
Administrative Duties
Maintain records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
Prepare report cards and participate in parent-teacher meetings.
Support school events, literary competitions, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in English Language, Literature, or related field.
B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification (preferred but may vary by institution).
Skills & Competencies
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong knowledge of grammar, literature, and pedagogy.
Effective classroom management and communication skills.

Experience
