Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and dedicated

Primary School Mathematics Teacher

to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging mathematics lessons to students in the primary grades, fostering a love for numbers, problem-solving, and logical thinking. The teacher will promote a positive learning environment that supports student progress and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective and creative maths lessons in accordance with the school curriculum. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs and abilities. Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking. Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative evaluations. Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with other staff members to plan cross-curricular learning opportunities. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parent-teacher conferences, and school events. Uphold and promote the values and ethos of the school. Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance the teaching of mathematics. Support students with special needs or learning difficulties, ensuring inclusivity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field (specialization in Mathematics preferred). Teaching certification or license appropriate to primary education (B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent). Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience at the primary level (preferred). Strong knowledge of primary mathematics curriculum and pedagogy. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Proficient in the use of digital tools and educational technology. A nurturing, patient, and energetic approach to teaching young learners. Commitment to continuous professional development.
