Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about teaching young children and committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and Malayalam.

Prepare lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum and learning objectives.

Maintain a warm, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and curiosity.

Assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.

Collaborate with other teachers, school staff, and parents to support student development.

Use age-appropriate teaching methods, resources, and technology to enhance learning.

Maintain accurate student records and report cards.

Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

Any graduate / post graduate

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) / B.Ed with relevant specialization.

Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience at the primary level preferred. Freshers with strong academic backgrounds and teaching aptitude may also apply. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Malayalam is mandatory (both spoken and written). Ability to communicate effectively with young learners, colleagues, and parents. Subject Knowledge: Strong command over foundational subjects including English, Mathematics, EVS, and Malayalam. Ability to integrate interdisciplinary approaches and value-based education. Other Skills: Proficient in using basic educational technology (smart boards, digital platforms). Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Empathy, patience, and adaptability to work with young children.
