Job Description

A Primary School Teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young students, typically aged 5-11. They plan lessons, deliver engaging instruction, assess student progress, and support overall child development in accordance with the school curriculum and educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching & Instruction:

Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet national and school curriculum requirements. Use engaging teaching methods to support various learning styles. Encourage student participation and foster a love for learning. Utilize technology and educational tools to enhance learning.

Student Assessment & Development:

Monitor and evaluate student progress through tests, assignments, and observations. Provide constructive feedback to students and parents. Identify and support students with learning difficulties or special needs.

Classroom Management:

Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Enforce school rules and address behavioral issues effectively. Encourage discipline, cooperation, and respect among students.

Communication & Collaboration:

Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress. Work closely with fellow teachers, administrators, and school staff. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Curriculum & Professional Development:

Stay updated with educational best practices and curriculum changes. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training.
