We are looking for a dedicated and passionate EVS (Environmental Studies) Teacher for Grades 1 to 5 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should be able to make learning engaging and meaningful for young learners while laying a strong foundation in environmental awareness and general science concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver age-appropriate and activity-based EVS lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
Teach foundational topics related to nature, surroundings, community, health, hygiene, and early scientific thinking.
Use storytelling, real-life examples, activities, and visual aids to make concepts relatable and fun.
Encourage curiosity, observation, and questioning among students to foster inquiry-based learning.
Assess student learning through worksheets, quizzes, projects, and classroom participation, providing constructive feedback.
Integrate basic environmental awareness, civic sense, and responsibility into lessons.
Create a warm, inclusive, and disciplined classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
Collaborate with other primary teachers and participate in school events, celebrations, and academic activities.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching primary grades in a CBSE or equivalent school setting.
Skills:
Strong understanding of child psychology and primary teaching methodologies.
Ability to engage young learners using innovative and interactive techniques.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Passionate about early education and building foundational concepts in children.
