Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Primary English Teacher to teach CBSE Primary Classes (Grades I-V). The candidate should be well-versed in the CBSE curriculum, NEP 2020, and competency-based education, with a strong focus on language development, communication skills, and joyful learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English (Literature, Grammar, Reading & Writing) as per CBSE curriculum

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with CBSE learning outcomes and competencies

Implement activity-based, experiential, and learner-centric teaching methodologies

Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW) skills

Use stories, role-play, rhymes, worksheets, and digital tools to enhance learning

Prepare and conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE norms

Maintain lesson plans, student records, assessments, and portfolios

Identify slow learners and provide remedial support

Encourage reading habits, vocabulary building, and creative expression

Communicate students' academic progress to parents effectively

Participate in CBSE trainings, workshops, academic reviews, and school activities

Support school events, assemblies, and co-curricular programs

Required Qualifications:

Graduate / Post-Graduate in English (B.A / M.A English preferred)

B.Ed (mandatory as per CBSE norms)

CTET qualification preferred

Strong knowledge of CBSE English curriculum for Grades I-V

Experience:

2-5 years of teaching experience in CBSE Primary Classes

Freshers with strong subject knowledge and training may be considered

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent command over spoken and written English

Strong classroom management skills

Ability to engage young learners effectively

Knowledge of CBSE assessment patterns and documentation

Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Classroom, School ERP)
