Job Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing
Primary School Teacher
to teach
Mathematics and Environmental Studies (EVS)
to students of
Grade 1
. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child-centered pedagogy, the ability to simplify concepts, and a creative approach to make learning joyful and engaging.
Key Responsibilities:Academic:
Teach
basic Mathematics
concepts such as numbers, addition, subtraction, shapes, measurement, and patterns.
Teach
Environmental Studies (EVS)
, introducing children to their surroundings, nature, family, school, animals, plants, safety, hygiene, and basic science in everyday life.
Prepare and implement daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and grade-level expectations.
Use storytelling, visual aids, activities, and play-based learning to simplify abstract ideas.
Conduct regular
formative and summative assessments
to evaluate and track student progress.
Classroom Management:
Maintain a
positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
.
Encourage curiosity, participation, and questioning in the classroom.
Manage behavior with patience, positive reinforcement, and age-appropriate strategies.
Administrative & Communication:
Maintain proper records of
attendance, assessments, and student portfolios
.
Collaborate with other subject teachers and coordinators for interdisciplinary learning.
Communicate regularly with
parents/guardians
regarding student progress and development.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
D.El.Ed. / B.Ed.
qualification is mandatory.
Minimum
1-3 years of teaching experience
in a primary school setting is preferred.
Strong command over
English
and/or the medium of instruction.
Familiarity with
child development principles
and
early childhood education practices
.

Creativity in teaching methods and classroom activities
Organizational and time-management skills
Ability to identify and support
slow learners or special needs students
when needed

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
