Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Social Studies (SST) Teacher to teach classes 1 to 5 under the CBSE curriculum. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, the ability to simplify concepts for young learners, and a passion for nurturing curiosity about history, geography, civics, and culture.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Teach Social Studies subjects (History, Geography, Civics, and related topics) to classes 1-5 as per CBSE guidelines.

• Prepare engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities that make learning interactive and enjoyable.

• Use creative teaching methods, storytelling, and real-life examples to simplify concepts.

• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.

• Provide individual attention and remedial support to students as needed.

• Foster awareness of social, cultural, and environmental issues among young learners.

• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.

• Maintain discipline and ensure a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Arts/Social Sciences/Elementary Education with B.Ed. (mandatory).

• 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to make Social Studies engaging and relatable for young learners.

• Familiarity with innovative teaching tools and digital platforms.
