The Science Teacher for the Primary Section (Classes III-V or I-V) will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate science lessons that align with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster curiosity, inquiry, and scientific thinking among students through hands-on activities, experiments, and real-life applications.
Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
Use innovative, activity-based, and experiential learning methods to make science concepts engaging and understandable.
Design and conduct simple experiments and demonstrations suitable for primary-level learners.
Integrate cross-curricular links (e.g., environmental studies, mathematics, health, and technology).
Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.
Maintain lesson plans, teaching aids, and records of student performance.
Classroom Management
Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and promote respect, teamwork, and curiosity.
Encourage active participation and critical thinking through discussions and group activities.
Assessment & Evaluation
Prepare and grade classwork, homework, tests, and project work in accordance with CBSE evaluation standards.
Maintain student records, report cards, and progress reports accurately.
Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and areas of improvement.
Professional Responsibilities
Participate in staff meetings, subject planning sessions, and professional development workshops.
Collaborate with other teachers to plan interdisciplinary projects and events (e.g., Science Day, exhibitions).
Contribute to school events, excursions, and science-related co-curricular activities.
Stay updated with CBSE circulars, NEP 2020 guidelines, and modern teaching practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc. / B.Ed.) or equivalent.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)

as per CBSE norms.
CTET or State TET qualification preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE or recognized school (preferably at the primary level).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong command of English (spoken and written).
Ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Creativity in lesson planning and use of teaching aids (digital and traditional).
