Key Responsibilities

Academic Duties

:

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in

English and Social Studies

. Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and activities aligned with the curriculum. Foster reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills in English. Teach Social Studies topics that enhance students' understanding of history, geography, civics, and culture. Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Classroom Management

:

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Maintain discipline, manage student behavior, and promote respect and cooperation among students. Monitor and evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

Assessment and Reporting

:

Design and administer periodic assessments, assignments, and projects. Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and prepare student progress reports.

Professional Development & Collaboration

:

Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and school events. Collaborate with fellow teachers for integrated learning projects and curriculum development. Stay updated with new teaching methodologies and educational trends.

Qualifications & Requirements

:

Bachelor's Degree in English / Social Studies / Education (B.Ed. preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English and/or Social Studies at the primary level. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passion for teaching and a nurturing attitude toward young learners.
