Job Description

The Principal serves as the academic and administrative head of the school, responsible for providing strong leadership, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, maintaining discipline, fostering a positive school culture, and managing the day-to-day operations of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership



Provide vision and direction for curriculum planning and implementation. Ensure effective teaching practices, student assessments, and academic performance monitoring. Promote innovative teaching methods, technology integration, and extracurricular development. Support teachers in professional growth through training and mentoring.

Administrative & Operational Management



Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, staffing, and facilities management. Ensure compliance with educational board regulations, accreditation standards, and school policies. Manage budgets, resources, and allocation of funds effectively. Supervise admissions, examinations, and student record management.

Student Development & Discipline



Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students. Implement disciplinary policies fairly and consistently. Encourage participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Promote student well-being, personal growth, and academic success.

Staff Management



Recruit, train, and evaluate teachers and non-teaching staff. Provide leadership that motivates staff to achieve excellence. Build a collaborative, positive, and professional culture among staff.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement



Maintain strong communication with parents, guardians, and the school community. Represent the school in external forums, events, and educational networks. Collaborate with the school management/board in strategic planning and policy development.

Qualifications & Experience:



Master's Degree in Education or relevant field (Ph.D. preferred). Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, pedagogy, and educational best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
