Job Description

We are seeking a committed and nurturing Primary Mother Teacher for CBSE Primary Classes (Grades I-V). The teacher will function as a class teacher, handling academics, mentoring, classroom management, and parent coordination while ensuring effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum, competency-based education, and NEP 2020 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the CBSE Class Teacher (Mother Teacher) for the assigned primary grade

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes

Implement experiential, activity-based, and competency-based teaching methods as per CBSE

Integrate NEP 2020 principles in teaching and assessment

Maintain student records, attendance, portfolios, and assessments as per CBSE norms

Conduct formative and summative assessments following CBSE guidelines

Track academic, behavioral, and emotional development of students

Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and child well-being

Coordinate with subject teachers for curriculum planning and assessments

Prepare students for CBSE assessments, worksheets, projects, and activities

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment

Participate in CBSE trainings, school reviews, inspections, and academic meetings

Support school events, assemblies, competitions, and co-curricular activities

Required Qualifications:

Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)

B.Ed / D.Ed / TTC (mandatory as per CBSE norms)

CTET qualification preferred

Sound knowledge of CBSE primary curriculum and assessment practices

Experience:

2-5 years of teaching experience in CBSE Primary Classes (I-V)

Experience as a Class Teacher / Mother Teacher is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication skills in English

Excellent classroom management and child-handling skills

Understanding of CBSE documentation, lesson plans, and assessments

Ability to handle parent interactions professionally

Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google tools, School ERP)
