Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Mathematics Teacher for Grades 3 to 5 who can make learning mathematics conceptual, engaging, and activity-based, in alignment with CBSE and NEP 2020 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Academic & Pedagogical Skills

Strong command over primary-level mathematics concepts as prescribed by CBSE curriculum Ability to teach mathematics using activity-based, experiential, and hands-on methods Skill in developing concept clarity through manipulatives, real-life applications, and math games Integration of foundational numeracy, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills Effective use of TLMs, worksheets, worksheets, and digital tools for math instruction
Teaching-Learning Practices

Lesson planning aligned with learning outcomes, competencies, and assessment standards Conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE norms Maintain accurate records of student progress and remediation plans Implement differentiated instruction to support diverse learners Encourage critical thinking, mental math, and math vocabulary development
Classroom Management & Student Engagement

Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Ensure age-appropriate classroom discipline and active student participation Foster confidence and interest in mathematics among students
Communication & Collaboration

Excellent communication skills to explain concepts clearly and effectively Regular interaction with parents regarding academic progress Collaborative work with grade teachers and academic coordinators Willingness to participate in school activities, trainings, and CBSE programmes
Qualifications & Experience

B.Sc / B.A with Mathematics + B.Ed (mandatory as per CBSE norms) Minimum 2-5 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the primary level (Grades 3-5) CBSE school experience preferred
