Position: Primary Math Teacher

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience

Qualification: Graduate with B.Ed / Elementary Teaching Certification

Role Overview

The Primary Math Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, concept-based mathematics lessons to students from Grades 1 to 5, ensuring strong foundational understanding and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics to primary-grade students using interactive and activity-based methods.

Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and learning materials aligned with the school curriculum (CBSE).

Explain mathematical concepts in simple, child-friendly language.

Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student performance, and share feedback with students and parents.

Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.

Incorporate hands-on activities, manipulatives, and real-life examples to strengthen conceptual understanding.

Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Participate in school events, PTMs, trainings, and academic planning sessions.

Support slow learners through remedial classes and enrichment programs for advanced learners.

Work collaboratively with grade teachers, HOD, and coordinators to achieve academic goals.
