Job Overview

We are looking for a warm, dedicated, and child-centered Mother Teacher to lead a Grade 2 classroom. The teacher will be responsible for academic delivery, classroom management, emotional support, and building strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for all subjects as per Grade 2 curriculum (excluding specialist subjects). Create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Monitor and support the emotional and social development of students. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being. Prepare assessments, track student performance, and maintain records. Use creative teaching strategies to build foundational concepts in English, Math, and EVS. Manage classroom routines, discipline, and daily schedules. Collaborate with co-teachers, coordinators, and the academic team for smooth functioning. Participate in school events, trainings, meetings, and parent-teacher interactions.

Skills & Qualifications

Graduate with B.Ed / D.Ed / ECCEd (mandatory). 1-3 years of teaching experience in primary grades preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to connect with young learners and manage a primary classroom. Creative, patient, empathetic, and child-friendly teaching approach. Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, online learning tools).
