Role Summary:

The PRT EVS Teacher will be responsible for teaching Environmental Studies to primary classes (Grades 1 to 5). The teacher must foster curiosity, awareness of the environment, and basic scientific thinking in young learners through interactive and age-appropriate teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach EVS topics as per the prescribed curriculum for primary grades. Prepare lesson plans, activities, charts, and hands-on learning tools. Use storytelling, real-life examples, and experiments to make topics engaging. Evaluate students through regular assessments and class participation. Maintain academic records and student reports. Ensure classroom discipline and a safe, nurturing environment. Communicate with parents regarding student progress. Participate in school events, training, and meetings.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Environmental Science, or a related field B.Ed. (mandatory) Good command over English and Hindi (or regional language) Familiarity with CBSE/State Board curriculum for primary classes
