Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines. Develop students' skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking through creative and interactive methods. Incorporate phonics, grammar, and vocabulary-building activities suited to primary level learners. Use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, participation, and collaboration. Integrate storytelling, audio-visual aids, and digital learning tools to enhance language learning. Prepare and evaluate worksheets, projects, and activities to support continuous learning. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and overall development. Participate in school events, assemblies, literary activities, and professional development programs. Ensure adherence to school policies, safety procedures, and CBSE academic standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in English / Literature / Education (B.A. + B.Ed. preferred). CTET-qualified candidates preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the primary level in a CBSE school.

Skills:

Strong command over spoken and written English. Ability to design engaging lesson plans and learning activities. Classroom management and child-centered teaching skills. Proficiency in digital teaching tools (Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.). Empathy, patience, and effective communication with young learners.
