Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Primary English Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, a deep understanding of child pedagogy, and the ability to engage young learners through interactive and creative teaching methods aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English language (reading, writing, speaking, listening) to students from Grades I to V. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on CBSE guidelines. Incorporate age-appropriate teaching aids, storytelling, phonics, grammar activities, and digital resources. Foster a love for reading and writing through creative classroom activities. Evaluate and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments. Maintain student records, report cards, and contribute to PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings). Promote 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Collaborate with peers and participate in school events, workshops, and continuous professional development. Ensure classroom discipline and student safety.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English or Education (B.A. + B.Ed. preferred). Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience at the primary level in a CBSE school. Thorough knowledge of CBSE curriculum and pedagogy for primary classes. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Competent in using technology (smartboards, online tools, MS Office, etc.) for teaching and reporting.
