Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured English lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking skills. Introduce students to a variety of literary texts including prose, poetry, and drama. Design and assess assignments, tests, and exams to track student progress. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve. Maintain a classroom environment that promotes respect, curiosity, and academic achievement. Use technology and varied teaching strategies to enhance learning. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parent-teacher conferences, and school events. Support students with diverse learning needs, including ESL learners. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred). Valid teaching certification or license (as required by local regulations). Proven experience teaching English at the [primary/secondary/post-secondary] level. Strong command of English grammar, literature, and writing instruction. Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills. Passion for teaching and inspiring students to love language and literature. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
