The Primary English Facilitator will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students from Grades 1 to 5. The role involves planning and implementing curriculum-aligned lessons, fostering a love for reading and writing, and supporting the development of communication skills in young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum framework and learning objectives.
Use innovative, age-appropriate pedagogical methods to make learning interactive and student-centered.
Integrate phonics, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing into daily instruction.
Encourage oral communication through discussions, storytelling, presentations, and role-plays.
Regularly assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of student progress, achievements, and feedback.
Provide individualized support to students with varied learning needs and abilities.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation.
Collaborate with other facilitators and coordinators to ensure interdisciplinary learning and thematic integration.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and development during PTMs and through regular updates.
Participate in school events, workshops, training sessions, and curriculum planning meetings.
Promote a reading culture through book clubs, library activities, reading challenges, etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in English / Education (B.Ed. preferred).
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant teaching experience in a primary school setting.
Strong command of the English language (spoken and written).
Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE/IB/Cambridge curriculum (as applicable).
Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
