Role Overview



The Primary Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the academic and co-curricular programmes for Grades 1-5 under the Cambridge curriculum. This role involves leading teachers, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, fostering innovative teaching practices, and creating a nurturing environment for holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities



Provide academic leadership in implementing the Cambridge Primary Curriculum (Grades 1-5). Mentor and support teachers to ensure effective lesson planning, teaching strategies, and classroom management. Monitor curriculum delivery, assessments, and reporting in alignment with Cambridge standards. Organize and lead professional development programmes for faculty. Ensure effective communication between teachers, students, parents, and school leadership. Coordinate school events, assemblies, parent meetings, and other academic activities. Regularly review student performance data and implement strategies for improvement. Collaborate with subject heads and leadership to align curriculum and pedagogy across grades. Uphold the school's vision, mission, and values while promoting a positive and inclusive learning culture. Ensure compliance with Cambridge International policies and academic quality benchmarks.

Qualifications & Skills



Master's/Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Cambridge/International schools. Prior experience in leadership, coordination, or supervisory roles is desirable. Strong understanding of Cambridge Primary Curriculum framework and assessment methodology. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a team of teachers effectively.
