Job Responsibilities

Prepare and provide competitive freight quotations for

Ocean Import & Export shipments

(LCL/FCL). Liaise with

shipping lines, overseas agents, and vendors

to source best possible rates. Support the sales team by providing timely pricing and cost sheets for client requirements. Maintain an updated database of freight rates, surcharges, and carrier contracts. Negotiate rates with carriers and agents while ensuring company profitability. Assist in handling

RFQs, tenders, and spot quotes

related to ocean freight. Track competitor pricing trends and market developments in ocean freight. Coordinate with operations and documentation teams for smooth post-pricing execution.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

Ocean Import & Export freight forwarding processes

. Good understanding of

Incoterms, shipping documentation, and freight tariffs

. Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email correspondence. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

2-4 years of experience in Pricing (Ocean Import & Export)

in a freight forwarding/logistics company.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
