The Pricing Executive will be responsible for preparing competitive freight rates, coordinating with overseas agents and carriers, and supporting the sales and operations teams with accurate and timely pricing for import and export shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue freight quotations for Air & Sea (Import & Export) shipments
Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, and vendors for rate procurement
Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure competitive pricing
Maintain and update rate sheets and pricing databases
Provide timely pricing support to the sales and operations teams
Analyze market trends and competitor pricing
Ensure accuracy of pricing, surcharges, and validity periods
Follow up on special rate requests and tenders
Maintain proper documentation and pricing records
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding pricing (Air & Sea)
Good negotiation and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel and freight management systems
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate / Post Graduate (preferably in Logistics, Commerce, or Business)
1-4 years of experience in pricing or commercial role in freight forwarding
Freshers with relevant logistics training may also be considered
