Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and provide
competitive freight rates
for sea exports based on customer requirements.
Coordinate with
shipping lines, freight forwarders, and overseas agents
to negotiate rates and secure best possible pricing.
Analyze customer inquiries and prepare
cost-effective quotations
within the required turnaround time.
Maintain and update a
database of freight rates, surcharges, and tariffs
.
Support the
sales and business development team
with pricing strategies to win new business.
Monitor industry trends, market fluctuations, and competitor pricing to stay competitive.
Ensure
compliance with export regulations, shipping documentation, and company policies
.
Build and maintain good relationships with vendors, carriers, and clients.
Provide periodic reports on
pricing performance, win/loss ratio, and market insights
.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field
.
Minimum
1 year of experience
in sea export pricing / logistics.
Knowledge of
freight forwarding, Incoterms, and export documentation
.
Strong
negotiation and analytical skills
.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, MS Office, and logistics ERP/CRM tools
.
Excellent
communication and coordination skills
.
Ability to
work under pressure
and meet strict deadlines.
