The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, shape, or form metal or other materials according to production specifications. This role involves reading technical drawings, programming equipment, and ensuring the quality of finished products while adhering to safety and production standards.
Set up and operate press brake machines to produce parts per blueprints or specifications
Load raw materials onto the press brake and ensure proper alignment.
Inspect completed parts to verify accuracy in dimensions, angles, and tolerances.
Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines and related equipment.
Previous experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with CNC programming or manual press brake operation.
