Preschool Teacher - Position Summary: The Preschool Teacher creates a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3-5. They plan and implement engaging activities that support cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative growth while maintaining open communication with families and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned with early childhood education standards. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports exploration and play-based learning. Observe, assess, and document each child's developmental progress. Support children in building social skills, emotional regulation, and independence. Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to support a cohesive learning environment. Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and school policies. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent certification, depending on region). Experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting. Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning through play. Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or other early learning methodologies. First Aid/CPR certification. Experience with child assessment tools and documentation.
