Your primary responsibilities include facilitating learning, ensuring visitor engagement, and maintaining a welcoming environment that aligns with the museum's mission to foster critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving in children.
Act as an ambassador, ensuring all visitors have a positive and inclusive experience
Greet guests, provide orientation, and share information about exhibits and programs
Address visitor inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure high guest satisfaction
Facilitate a smooth visitor journey and guide guests through the space
Monitor visitor flow to prevent overcrowding in exhibit areas
Collect visitor feedback to help improve services
Exhibit Engagement & Knowledge
Develop a deep understanding of exhibits, their learning goals, and visitor experience
Stay updated on programs, events, and new initiatives
Maintain exhibit areas to ensure cleanliness and adequate supplies
Guide children through interactive learning activities
Educational Programs, Events & Workshops
Conduct interactive educational programs, workshops, and demonstrations
Manage school groups, birthday parties, and special events
Support initiatives related to memberships, promotions, and merchandise
Safety & Security
Maintain a safe, child-friendly environment at all times
Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Follow safety procedures including emergency response protocols
Participate in regular safety training sessions
Operational Support & Additional Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing museum programs and special events
Support and guide volunteers and temporary staff
Perform administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth functioning
Bachelor's degree in Museum Operations, Retail Operations, Hospitality, Education, or a related field
Prior experience in customer service, education, museums, amusement parks, or recreational settings
Experience working with children (ages 1-18) in interactive learning environments
Key Skills & Traits
Passion for working with children and families in an educational setting
Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (Marathi or other Indian languages is a plus)
Ability to manage large groups and conduct engaging learning sessions
Adaptability and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
