Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Implementation:

Preschool teachers design and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote learning in areas like literacy, numeracy, and social skills. They may use various teaching methods, including storytelling, games, and creative play.

Classroom Management:

Maintaining a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment is crucial. This includes establishing clear expectations for behavior and managing the classroom effectively.

Monitoring and Assessment:

Preschool teachers observe and assess children's progress, noting their developmental milestones and any areas where they may need additional support.

Parent Communication:

Keeping parents informed about their child's progress, sharing observations, and addressing any concerns are important aspects of the role.

Social and Emotional Development:

Preschool teachers play a vital role in helping children develop crucial social and emotional skills, such as cooperation, sharing, and conflict resolution.

Fostering a Love of Learning:

By creating a positive and engaging learning environment, preschool teachers can inspire a lifelong love of learning in young children.

Basic Needs:

Preschool teachers also ensure the basic needs of children are met, including providing snacks and meals and helping with personal care when needed.
