Pre-Sales Engineer - AV Solutions

Job Summary:

We are looking for a

Pre-Sales Engineer

with strong technical expertise in Audio Visual (AV) systems to support the sales team in designing, presenting, and proposing integrated AV solutions. The role involves working closely with clients to understand requirements, preparing system designs, BOQs, and technical proposals, and ensuring the proposed solution meets both client and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable AV solutions. Conduct

site surveys

and gather detailed technical requirements. Design and prepare

AV system architectures

, connection diagrams, and layout drawings. Prepare

BOQ (Bill of Quantity)

,

technical specifications

, and

system costing

. Create and deliver

presentations and demonstrations

for clients. Support in

tender/RFP responses

,

technical documentation

, and

proposal submissions

. Coordinate with vendors and internal design/installation teams for solution validation. Stay updated with the latest AV technologies (displays, control systems, conferencing, sound systems, etc.). Support post-sales team for handover and clarification during project execution.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of

AV system components

such as projectors, video walls, interactive displays, speakers, amplifiers, microphones, matrix switchers, and control processors. Knowledge of

brands

like Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Bose, Poly, Logitech, Cisco, Samsung, LG, etc. Proficiency in

AutoCAD / Visio

and MS Office for documentation and drawings. Excellent

communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

. Strong

analytical and problem-solving abilities

. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in designing

Conference Rooms, Auditoriums, Board Rooms, Classrooms, and Control Rooms

. Certification from

AVIXA (CTS / CTS-D)

or equivalent will be an added advantage. Experience with

Video Conferencing and Control System Programming

is desirable.
