Position: Presales Specialist - Network Solutioning



Location: Mumbai - Vikhroli (with occasional travel to customer locations on a need basis)


Industry Experience: Network design & solutioning


Education: BE/BTech in ECE/Telecom/EE/CS/IT with MBA in Marketing


Minimum Experience: 3-6 years



Key Responsibilities



Design comprehensive technical solutions leveraging Vegayan's network software products (network management & automation) while emphasizing value propositions and competitive advantages. Act as the technical expert for external customer meetings with Network operators & system integrators. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to map customer requirements to tailored solutions, focusing on network planning and design. Lead customer meeting in terms of product demonstrations & showcasing solution USP's. Analyze customer proposal requests (RFP) and functional requirements to align solution to meet customer requirements in RFP response. Prepare technical documentation, including scope of work (SoW), business requirements (BRD), and user acceptance (UAT). Develop customer engagement strategies to address planning, automation, and advanced solution needs. Design and manage marketing collateral, including product brochures, case studies, white papers, and web content.

Technical Knowledge



Strong understanding of communication networks with focus on network planning, design and services. Strong understanding of telecom technologies in IP/MPLS, L2/L3 services, Optical transport, GPON & RAN. Deep understanding of network services design & underlying technical considerations. Experience in SDN, network telemetry, and automation technologies is highly desirable. Understanding of OSS/BSS stack & server IT systems is highly desirable. Experience in Telecom operator planning/design or OEM Presales/solutioning is must.

Excellent communication, presentation & inter-personal skills for external & internal customers at all levels. Be proficient in making catchy presentations with concise messaging & clarity of thought. Confident of meeting and presenting value proposition/product demos to senior executives (GM, VP level) and play critical strategic role. Go-getter attitude and result-oriented focus on deliveries under tight deadlines and stretched timings. Multi-faceted, multi-tasking, high-energy person who can handle diverse set of projects & tasks. Team player having pleasant personality, coordination & organizing skills. Person with high integrity and responsibility, capable of handling confidential and sensitive information.
