Presales Engineer

who can translate customer requirements into impactful AI-driven solutions.

Role Overview

The Presales Engineer will work closely with the sales, product, and engineering teams to design solutions, deliver demos, handle RFPs, and drive technical conversations with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Technical Scoping

Understand customer needs and map them to Intozi's AI video analytics capabilities. Prepare solution architectures, hardware sizing, network design, and deployment plans. Conduct technical feasibility checks for PoCs and enterprise deployments.

Product Demonstrations

Deliver impactful product demos of

Ikshana

, highway suite, manufacturing analytics, airport modules, and custom CV workflows. Conduct on-site and remote demonstrations, pilots, and PoCs.

RFP / Proposal / Documentation

Own technical responses to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders. Prepare solution documents, BoQs, compliance sheets, presentations, and technical proposals. Collaborate with sales team to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

Customer Engagement

Participate in meetings with CXOs, IT heads, system integrators, and field teams. Translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate benefits clearly. Support pricing discussions with cost/architecture justifications.

Cross-Team Collaboration

Coordinate with product & engineering teams for feature clarifications and customization requirements. Provide customer feedback for product improvements and roadmap alignment.

PoC & Deployment Support

Assist in setting up pilots/PoCs with technical clarity and benchmarks. Conduct site surveys, requirement analysis, and deployment recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of: IP cameras, VMS, networking (VLANs, routing, bandwidth planning) Server/GPU sizing, cloud/on-prem architecture Basic understanding of AI/CV models, analytics pipelines, VLM/VLM concepts (added advantage) Exposure to tools like Visio, PPT, Excel (sizing sheets, diagrams). Experience with RFP/tender processes.

Soft Skills

Strong communication & presentation abilities. Ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Structured thinking, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Qualification

B.Tech/B.E. in IT, Computer Science, ECE, or related fields. Prior presales/solution engineering experience in AI/Video Analytics/IT/Surveillance domains preferred.
