Job Overview
The
Presales Consultant
plays a key role in supporting the sales team by providing
technical expertise, product presentations, and customized solutions
to potential clients and channel partners. This role bridges the gap between the technical capabilities of our brands and the business needs of our customers, ensuring the right products are positioned for the right projects and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the sales team to
identify customer requirements
and propose suitable product solutions.
Prepare and deliver
product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions
for dealers, architects, interior designers, and applicators.
Provide
technical support
during the sales cycle, including product selection, specifications, and application guidance.
Assist in creating
technical documentation
, proposals, and product comparison sheets for client discussions.
Work closely with vendors to stay updated on new products, technologies, and innovations in the building materials space.
Support the marketing team in developing
technical content
, product catalogs, and promotional materials.
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of product samples, brochures, and other presales resources.
Maintain and update a
database of projects, leads, and client interactions
for effective follow-ups and reporting.
Participate in
trade shows, exhibitions, and product launch events
to represent Instastox and its partner brands.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical field (MBA preferred).
3-6 years of experience in
presales, technical sales, or product consultancy
within the
building materials, hardware, or construction
industry.
Strong understanding of
construction materials, product applications, and project requirements
.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and basic design or estimation tools (if applicable).
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical details into customer-focused solutions.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
