Maintain zero liquid discharge system design, cost and delivery by collaborating with sales, factory, purchase and engineering departments for selected standard solutions according to the system development plan. Drive product plans and run solution control for zero liquid discharge systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with Sales, define Product Plans.
• Drive Solution Council meetings.
• Define design guidelines for ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) system. Take active participation in implementing the design guidelines. Actively review the projects under implementation and push for standard solutions.
• Provide technical training for new engineers.
• Handle improvements and customer-related adjustments.
• Establish and maintain documentation according to the agreed level of documentation.
• Define minimum Quality requirement for selected system.
• Costing for standard systems and for systems under development.
• Keep the "Share pages for products " database updated. Data must be validated or updated not less than one time per year.
• Initiate & Drive Supply Chain projects in collaboration with purchase.
• Support other E&S Sites to develop competence to establish localized systems.
• Drive VAVE workshop for respective system.
• Drive internal standardization projects as per PROMAL.
• Collaborate with Automation development team for setting guidelines
• Get updates from FAT & SAT and other inspection requirements and look for improvements
• Regularly monitor the progress, resolve operational hurdles/ bottlenecks that might hamper execution of project.
• Ensure cost optimization on projects by optimizing design, procurement etc.
• Guide proposal and sales work as & when required.
• Stay up to date with new technology and tools and be able to implement, if necessary.
• Support Supply Chain in identifying, evaluating & selecting the alternate vendors.
• Ensure to follow best engineering practices in accordance with internal rules.
• Support customer claims by finding possible solutions and root cause analysis.
• Show intent to implement standards and work processes.
• Interface with Sales, Fabrication, Service and order handling and bridge gaps. Influence the product configuration decision.

Purpose
Group Leader Quotation and Engineering-CST -

• The role shall report into Group Leader Quotation and Engineering-CST. The incumbent shall take the key priorities aligned requirement of the role as product responsible for zero liquid discharge systems. Be on top with standard requirements and participate and drive in various standardization initiatives and report developments on this front.

Global Manager conceptual design and bids -

• Plan and report course of PRES activities. Decide the content, participants and timing of solution council meetings, VAVE plans. Draft and implement development projects as per PROMAL guidelines. Present quarterly reports on zero liquid discharge solution development. Keep focus on standardization and modularization.

Sales Company / Business Unit -

• Understand customer requirements and developments. Promote developed standard solutions. Focus on modularization and standardization. Further system development in accordance with market demand specifications

Project team -

• Interact with project managers, process, mechanical and automation engineers for pushing implementation of standard solutions. Decide level of documentation for zero liquid discharge systems and push for maintaining those.

Purchase

• Initiate & Drive Supply Chain projects in collaboration with purchase. Support Supply Chain in identifying, evaluating & selecting the alternate vendors

Operations -

• Collaborate with factory and identify the concerns for skid-based system-built ups. Identify the gaps in zero liquid discharge system specifications, try and close the gaps.

Service -

• Interact with service engineers in case of customer claims.

Documentation team -

• Explain requirement of documents as per system standard developments

Quality -

• Define minimum quality requirements of the system. Interact with QC engineers and develop quality plans for zero liquid discharge systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-12 years' experience in the Evaporation Engineering domain, Knowledge of zero liquid discharge systems is an added advantage.
• Have basic exposure to Skid-based project execution process
• Graduate /Postgraduate -Chemical Engineering

Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of engineering practices codes & standards related to Module engineering.
• Practical experience with evaporator commissioning and decanters is added advantage.

• Practical experience in module building and operation.
• Industry Knowledge of zero liquid discharge in Energy sector

Skills:
