Job Summary:

The Pre-Qualification Engineer is responsible for managing vendor registrations, compliance documentation, certifications, and pre-qualification submissions required for global tenders and project approvals. The role ensures that the company meets all technical, quality, and statutory requirements necessary for successful vendor enlistment with major end-users, EPCs, and government organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Registration & Pre-Qualification

Manage end-to-end vendor registration processes for global end-users, including Gulf government companies and international trading firms. Handle Indian Railways and EIL vendor registrations, including portal creation, document submission, technical evaluations, and approval follow-ups. Prepare comprehensive pre-qualification documents, including manuals, SOPs, checklists, capability profiles, and compliance statements as per client requirements.

2. Quality & Compliance Management

Implement and maintain QMS (ISO 9001), EMS (ISO 14001), and OHSMS (ISO 45001) across corporate offices and manufacturing facilities. Prepare and manage certification documentation in accordance with ASTM F1387, MSS-SP, PED, and other relevant international standards.

3. Factory & Legal Documentation

Prepare and submit statutory factory documentation, including licenses, environmental clearances, labor compliance, and safety certifications. Coordinate with statutory authorities, auditors, and consultants to ensure timely and accurate compliance closure.

4. Tender & Bid Coordination

Compile complete tender submission packages, including pre-qualification forms, technical documentation, declarations, and certifications. Support Business Development and Sales teams with required documentation for domestic and international tenders & end-users.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in vendor registration, pre-qualification, QA/QC, or compliance engineering. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and global technical specifications. Excellent documentation, coordination, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office; basic design skills preferred.
